The Nonprofit Roundtable Of Greater Washington Releases A Special Report On Nonprofit Coordination Efforts During Emergencies

Recently Chuck Bean--Executive Director of The Nonprofit Roundtable Of Greater Washington and Emergency Preparedness Consultant, Elliot Harkavy stopped by the Code Red! studios to discuss The Nonprofit Roundtable's recently released report, "Working Together When the Worst Happens: Nonprofit Emergency Preparedness in the National Capital Region."

This brand new report describes the efforts between 20 organizations – including 18 nonprofits and two local government agencies – to coordinate disaster response and recovery services in the National Capital Region because when disaster strikes, nonprofit organizations are critical first responders.
